Senior Strategist, Trust and Safety Analysis

The Shopping team within Trust and Safety is recruiting individuals to work with technologies in order to keep users safe on Google Shopping. As part of this team, you will develop and manage cross-functional relationships with Engineering, Product and Operations teams in a multifaceted effort to improve our processes for identifying and resolving policy and safety issues.

• Ideate and manage impact strategies which increase user safety or improve user experience on Google Shopping in partnership with senior stakeholders from Engineering, Product Management, Legal, Policy, Sales and other Trust and Safety teams.
• Perform investigative fraud and abuse analysis, producing insights and recommendations.
• Identify opportunities for new signals, automation, workflow improvements and operational efficiency gains. Subsequently drive solutions to completion.
• Support global partnerships with senior stakeholders across teams and act as a reliable domain expert for them.
• Participate in the regular on-call coverage rotation to resolve sensitive issues and escalations.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 4 years of experience with delivering analysis projects and working on open-ended problems.
• 4 years of experience in data analytics, Trust and Safety, policy, cybersecurity, or a related field.
